The things
people ask.
If you don’t see your question here, please call or write — we’d rather have a conversation than send you a brochure.
Adults over 40 years of age with a history of alcohol or substance abuse and underlying mental health challenges. The home does not provide care to people who continue to use drugs or alcohol.
The assessment process is completed in collaboration with you to ensure that your views, preferences and aspirations are at the heart of things. A trained member of the team will meet with you and your referring professional to establish your care needs, goals and the way you wish to be supported. This will then be reviewed alongside any other documents provided by the professional completing the referral to create an individualised package of care.
Rosemary Cottage is a medium to long-term home. The length of placement is guided by the needs of the individual. Where there are long-term and enduring challenges, residents can remain in the home as long as their care need can be met. Where psychological wellbeing has been improved and alcohol or substance recovery is stable, residents can be supported to regain their independence. This can be managed with step-down care through our home care service.
Rosemary Cottage Care Limited can offer a tailored package of care provided by professional, experienced and caring team members in your own home. Care and support are delivered with you in the centre to ensure that your needs are fully met.
Rosemary Cottage Care Limited encourages family relationships. Family are welcome to visit throughout the day. There is always a friendly welcome from the team and a hot cup of tea waiting. Where relationships have been strained through alcohol, substance use, and mental health, the team are available to support the rebuilding of these relationships.
Both Rosemary Cottage and our home care service RC Home Care are fully licensed and regulated by the Jersey Care Commission.
