Care, where you live.
RC Home Care is a specialist visiting service for people living in their own homes across Jersey — supporting those affected by drug or alcohol dependency and mental health challenges to stay well, stay independent, and stay connected.
Person-centred,
wherever home is.
RC Home Care aims to provide person-centred care to all of its clients — treating every individual with the utmost dignity and respect, promoting independence, offering freedom of choice, and safeguarding wellbeing.
We support people living in the community who are managing the effects of drug or alcohol addiction and mental health illness — including those still in active addiction, those working to maintain abstinence, and those living with an enduring mental health diagnosis.
The shape of support.
Every package is built around the individual. These are the threads of support we most often weave together — chosen and arranged with each client in collaboration.
Medication management
Prompting, supervision and recording of prescribed medication, with pharmacy liaison where needed.
Personal care & personal support
Discreet, dignified help with washing, dressing and the day-to-day routines that keep someone well.
Looking after the home
Light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and shopping — practical help with the things that hold a life together.
Meaningful activity
Support to develop a routine of meaningful activity — gym referrals, swimming, volunteering, attending Acorn.
Appointments & community access
Accompanied visits to GP, hospital, social work, and other appointments across the island.
Recovery support
SMART Recovery groups (we are a SMART partner organisation) and 1:1 relapse-prevention work when it is needed.
Family links
Encouragement and practical support to rebuild family relationships often disrupted by years of dependency.
Mealtime support
Help with planning, preparing and sharing meals — all staff trained to Food Hygiene Level 2.
Assessed with you,
never rushed.
Every client is assessed using our pre-care package assessment, with input from the client, other healthcare professionals and — where helpful — family members. The rights of the client are protected at all times, and packages of care are taken at a pace that allows for an informed decision.
Before care commences a personalised care plan is written using the information gathered. Plans are reviewed monthly, with day-to-day adjustments made as needs change — and clients are invited to review and shape every update.
A SMART Recovery
partner organisation.
RC Home Care is a SMART Recovery partner organisation, which means we can deliver SMART Recovery groups and use the evidence-based tools and worksheets developed by SMART Recovery UK.
Where a client has lapsed — or is at increased risk of lapsing — we provide one-to-one relapse-prevention support. And alongside the recovery work, staff support clients to build the routine of meaningful activity that helps a life feel worth living.

Let’s start with
a conversation.
Whether you’re enquiring for yourself or a loved one, the first step is a phone call. We’ll listen first, and only then talk about what we can offer.
